EPSRC Update

We have received a decision from EPSRC regarding extension of the NMSF funding beyond the current term of 30th June 2018. We are able to continue to offer free access to NMSF services for currently supported EPSRC funded projects until 31st December 2018.

There will not be any further funding extensions from EPSRC, current allocations cannot be increased and no new projects/users accepted on free access terms; commercial access is available as has been communicated previously.

If not already begun, future costs for mass spectrometry analyses should be included in current grant proposals. We have no information on potential bridging funds for projects already awarded that will continue beyond 2018. We understand this situation potentially makes future research more difficult, but hope to continue a fruitful commercial partnership with you from 2019 onwards.
